Dr. Turner serves as a Co-Principal Investigator on the DAMSS grant, collaborating in the roles of survey developer, psychometrician, data manager, and analyst. She also mentors DAMSS team members.
Dr. Ronna Turner (She/Her/Hers) is a Co-Principal Investigator on the DAMSS project. She is a professor in the Educational Statistics and Research Methodology program in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Research Methods at the University of Arkansas and serves as concentration coordinator for the Educational Statistics and Psychometrics concentration of the Statistics and Analytics interdisciplinary program. Dr. Turner earned her Ph.D. in Quantitative and Evaluative Research Methodologies in Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois. She also has a Masters in the social sciences and a bachelor’s in mathematics from Missouri State University.
In her free time, Dr. Turner's favorite activities are raising her statistically significant outliers, watching movies and documentaries, and playing racquetball and volleyball.
