Dr. Lucrecia Mena-Meléndez is an Assistant Research Scientist with the DAMSS team. Lucrecia holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and specializes in qualitative and quantitative sexual and reproductive health research.
Dr. Mena-Meléndez' research combines interdisciplinary theoretical insights with advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to study fertility, sexual and reproductive health, and child health in Latin America and the Caribbean and the United States. With DAMSS, she assists in various qualitative and quantitative research components of the project, including co-leading all bilingual and bicultural aspects of the project, as well as contributing to and spearheading other content-driven investigations.
