Dr. Crawford is a Principal Investigator (PI) for the DAMSS Team. As a PI, Dr. Crawford leads quantitative survey development, conducts data analysis, disseminates research to a broad variety of audiences, and mentors DAMSS team members.
Dr. Crawford's training is in Sociology and quantitative methods. His current research focuses on 1) developing measures for use in social surveys and 2) the relationship between child maltreatment, child welfare, and the life-course.
In his free time, Dr. Crawford enjoys long distance running, golf, watching Mixed Martial Arts, and supporting his favorite European football team, Manchester United F.C. He also enjoys spending time with the newest member of his family, his daughter.
